WASP-1

WASP-1, one of the original NYC graffiti artists of the 1970s, helped to lay the foundation of the art form in its earliest years. Whether bombing whole trains, as well as being an all-city king, all five boroughs, the WASP-1 tag was always present. Considered widely to be the first to take graffiti international, bringing it to the Dominican Republic in 1972, the legendary graffiti artist was also featured in both seminal films of the period; the documentary Style Wars, as well as the feature film Wild Style.
